THE BATTLE IS THE LORDS (1)

1 Samuel 17: 1- 4 “Now the Philistines gathered together their armies to battle and they were gathered together at Shochoh which belongeth to Judah and they pitched between Shochoh and Azekah in Ephesdamin. And Saul and the men of Israel were gathered together, and pitched by the valley of Elah and set the battle in array against the Philistines. And the Philistine stood on one side, and Israel stood on the mountain on the other side: and there was a valley between them. And there went out a champion out of the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span.” Can you see how they fight in those days, one group gathers on one side and the other group gather on the other side and there will be space in between them. That is how they used to fight. In contempory days Goliath was almost 10ft tall. The best of use may get to 6:3- 6:5, but Goliath was 10ft. He wasn’t 10ft and skinning, he was 10ft and muscular. 1 Samuel 17: 5-6 “And he had an helmet of brass upon his head, and he was armed with a coat of mail, and the weight of the coat was five thousand shekels of brass. And he had greaves of brass upon his legs and a target of brass between his shoulders.” In other words he had sheen guards upon his legs, He was heavily armored. 1 Samuel 17: 7 “And the staff of his spear was like a weavers beam, and his spear’s head weighed six hundred shekels of iron and one bearing a shield went before him.” You can imagine someone that is 10ft tall how tall will his spare or javelin be? Usually the spares of warriors in…

FIRST THINGS FIRST

ONE I want to teach a subject in my heart, first things first. The Lord began to tell me, if you put first things first, you will be a guaranteed success. Mathew 6:31:- “Therefore take no thought, saying, what shall we eat? Or, what shall we drink? Or, wherewithal shall we be clothed? ” These are things that men think about, they are legitimate things. But the Lord said don’t think about them. Verse 32, “For after all these things do the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.” He knows the dept of your pain, He knows that you need a husband; He knows that you need a wife and He knows that you need health in your body. Listen God knows. And let me tell you something, just as He created Adam in the book of beginning , put him in Eden in an already prepared place, it wasn’t Adam that spent time in intercession telling Him to do that, on His own will He created that garden of abundance and put Adam there, Adam came and met it there. That is God’s mind for us; all things have already been prepared for us. You cannot desire a better life than what God has for you. Many of us sometimes we kind think, does God really know the kind of wife or husband I want? Does God really know the kind of clothes I want to wear? Does God really I want a romantic man, a man that will understand me? Does God really know the kind of ministry I want? He knows He created you; infact the only reason why you’re desiring that is because He put the desire there. So He said He knows that we need all…

ESSENTIAL INGREDIENTS FOR EFFECTIVE LIVING 3

In these last days God is set to cause every believer to ride in high places! We’ve got to understand that when we are called into Christ we are called to live by certain sets of rules and principles that position us for God’s best in this life. When we talk about essential ingredients for effective living, we are basically talking about how to set or position yourself to live an effective life upon the earth; a life in which God is able to do everything He wants to do in your life. And all that God wants to do is good. Hab 2:1-4 The number 1 essential ingredient for effective living is to have vision – a strong sense of vision Vision in a general sense is a mental picture of a future state. The implication or suggestion in the above text is that there must be a clear vision that every child of God is running with in this life. For every area of our life there must be a strong sense of vision, a mental picture of the future, that we are running with; a picture that having spent time in the presence of God’s word of God, He has allowed to be birthed within our hearts. Vision is what sets the direction or pace of an individual’s life, it is what literally creates the ceiling for life – one cannot out run or out-perform one’s vision in this life. The key to leaving your undesirable present and accessing a desirable future that God has promised you is to see something better than what is happening today. Vision is not just the key to exiting an undesirable present but for getting out of any situation because your tomorrow should always be greater than your today. Even if…
